After a 5-year stint with Procter & Gamble HK Limited as Brand Manager for SK-II, Esther founded Prestique Limited in 1997 - a marketing and management consultancy which provides services in public and media relations, advertising and promotion consultation, research and event management. Prestique's diverse lifestyle clientele includes luxury brands, beauty products, fast-moving consumer goods, cultural and entertainment entities, electronics, and telecommunications, sports, and non-profit organizations.
Prestique has received the "Caring Company" Award for five consecutive years since 2008 due to its pro bono work for various charities including Chi Heng Foundation, Hong Kong Juvenile Diabetes Association, Operation Smile, Wu Zi Qiao, to name a few.
Esther received her Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School (New York) in 1992 and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French from University of California at Berkeley (California) in 1988. She is an avid golfer, runner, scuba-diver and squash player. She also enjoys cooking, design, writing and painting. Esther's third book - HarvEst of the 7 Human Vines - is due to launch in early 2014. Her two books "THE A to Z of PR", (published in 2005) and "CONDUCTING YOUR JOB SEARCH IN HONG KONG" (published in 1994) can be found in many local and overseas school and university libraries.
Esther won the American Chamber of Commerce/South China Morning Post Women of Influence "Entrepreneur of the Year" Award (2009), was selected by the United States Department of States as one of the three Hong Kong delegates at the APEC Woman Entrepreneurs Summit in Japan (2010) and was awarded "Top 100 Woman Entrepreneurs in China" at the People's Hall in Beijing (2011). She is also featured in the best-selling book by Maseena Ziegler entitled "Ladies Who Launch" (2011). Esther has been married to her college sweetheart Harvey since 1994 and is mother to daughters Quisha aged 8 and Tiqa aged 6.
